Preparing to shoot is an important stage that can significantly affect the final result. Not only the skill of the photographer is important, but also your participation. That’s why it’s important to heed the recommendations and prepare in advance, especially if it’s your first photo shoot.
Recommendations for preparation:
— Healthy Sleep: Get to bed on time and make sure you get plenty of sleep before your shoot
— Skin Care: Do not sunbathe before shooting, avoid cosmetic procedures and new skincare products a few days before the shoot to prevent possible allergic reactions
— Manicure and grooming: A fresh manicure (preferably nude or pastel colors), styling and waxing will help you feel more confident
— Snack: Have an easy pre-shoot snack and bring water with you
— Makeup: My goal is to capture your true nature, so I prefer not to wear flashy makeup on shoots, or better yet, no makeup at all. But if you need a makeup artist, make an appointment 2 hours before the shoot, or do your own nude makeup
— Props: Prepare everything you need in advance: comb, cosmetic bag, hair band, lip balm, wet or dry wipes
— Jewelry: Coordinate jewelry with me. You may need to remove your everyday jewelry
— Lingerie: Choose seamless monochrome lingerie without lace, in a color that matches the look (preferably beige)
— Clothes: Steam or iron your clothes beforehand. If you don’t have the look you want, buy it or ask a friend for it. You can use the services of a stylist (the price does not include the stylist’s work)
— Shoes: Shoes should be a neutral shade that matches the image. If shooting indoors, shoes should be clean and tidy. In studios, the soles are often taped to avoid leaving marks
— Arrive early: Arrive at the shoot 10-15 minutes before the start time to set up and prepare
See you at the shoot!
